Delete your account

From the app (the quickest way)

It works the same on iPhone and Android:

1. Open NewSet and go to your profile.
2. Open the settings and scroll to the bottom.
3. Tap «Delete account» and confirm. On iPhone you will be asked to confirm again with your Apple account.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

If you no longer have the app

Write to newset@newset.app with the subject «Delete my NewSet account», from the email address you used to sign in to NewSet or telling us your @username. If we cannot confirm the account is yours, we will ask for some more information. We will delete it within 30 days at the latest and let you know when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile, including your photo.
• Your match health data.
• Your friends, friend requests and blocks.
• Your settings, match templates and alerts.
• Your device identifiers for notifications.

What is kept, no longer linked to you

• The matches you played with other people, because they are also part of their history. They appear without your account.
• The messages you sent in conversations with other people, which appear as sent by a deleted user. If you want a message to disappear, delete it before deleting your account.
• Reports you are involved in, only for as long as needed to resolve them and handle possible claims.

If you were the only organiser of an ongoing competition, it passes to another participant or, if no one is left, it is cancelled. Workouts saved in Health or Health Connect are on your device: you can delete them from those apps.
